Functional unit FE02 – Single-stage drive The module serves as a manual control level with an emergency function for controlling a single-stage drive. A slide switch with the positions Auto-0-1 is installed for the drive. In the delivery state, the switch position Auto is potential-free and routed to the terminal. If feedback in the manual position is required, this can be changed internally via a jumper (jumper J1). A potential-free relay contact per control unit (changeover switch) allows direct switching of power contactors (note the contact load). The relay in the Auto switch position is controlled via an output of the DDC/PLC. An LED is installed to indicate the relay status, and its colour (red or green) can be selected via Jumper J2. The LED lights up in the set colour when the relay is activated and can also trigger a collective message on an FE04 functional unit via an additional jumper J3. In the delivery state, the relay can be controlled with a voltage of 8V to 24V AC/DC. If control with GND potential (or AC-COM) is required, this can be set using jumper J4. The jumpers are located in the module and can be changed. The base of the enclosure can be removed using a flat-head screwdriver at the top of the device. The individual inserts can now be removed by carefully pulling them out. The message texts are fixed but can be customised according to customer requirements for an additional charge. Device numbers can also be applied. Each functional unit consists of a 1HP plug-in unit, allowing several different functional units to be combined in a larger enclosure. Enclosures are available in 1HP, 2HP, 3HP and 4HP. The plug-in units are internally connected so that a single application of the supply voltage is sufficient. The collective message is also forwarded internally and can be displayed on an FE04 collective message module. For example, a 3TE enclosure containing the following functional units is used to control EEC motors: - Analogue encoder with bargraph display (FE03) - Collective signalling module (FE04) with one potential-free relay and 3 fault or operating messages - Digital module (FE01) Relay with manual intervention (Auto - Off - On) and potential-free switch feedback All available functional units can be freely combined in terms of number and position.
