The terminal designations are numbered consecutively according to the module position within an enclosure. 
The designation 3.6 therefore means: Internal module slot 3, terminal 6. 
In the following terminal list for functional unit FE02, the position is therefore marked as X.
Terminal X.1:		Supply voltage GND
Terminal X.2:		Supply voltage 24V AC or DC
Terminals X.3 and X.4:	Switch feedback in auto or manual position, potential-free, contact load 28V AC or DC, max. 5A, max. 100VA
Terminal X.5:		Relay NC contact 
Terminal X.6:		Control of the relay with 8V to 24V AC or DC in the delivery state.  Control with GND potential (AC-COM) selectable via jumper J4
Terminal X.7:		Relay NO contact 
Terminal X.8:		Relay root (COM), contact load 250V AC, 5A, max. 1250VA
